Overview

PURE SPACES. PURE YOU

Nestled at the base of Abu Dhabi’s highest peak, Jebel Hafit Desert Park holds significant UNESCO recognition. It showcases both breathtaking landscapes and archaeological sites that provide insights into the region’s ancient inhabitants. This site plays a vital role in understanding the human occupation of the desert over thousands of years.

The Destination

Stretching across a 9-kilometre area at the foot of Jebel Hafit mountain, this family-friendly park offers scenic beauty alongside archaeological discoveries. Among these are relics from the Neolithic era and the 5,000-year-old Jebel Hafit Tombs, which were excavated in 1959 under the direction of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Hafit Tombs

Dating back 5,000 years, these tombs mark the beginning of the Bronze Age in the UAE. Discovered by Danish archaeologists in 1959, they contain artifacts that highlight ancient maritime trade across the Arabian Gulf.

Arrival

Upon arrival, guests are greeted at the Activity Hub, where they can check in, book activities, and gather more information about the park.
