Pura Eco Retreat has opened for business in Abu Dhabi, bringing a wellness-focused hotel option for guests looking to detox from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Located on the unspoilt Jubail Island, the five-star resort has been built from the ground up with sustainability in mind. Pura Eco Retreat aims to provide guests with a holistic stay where they leave healthier than when they entered.
The Abu Dhabi resort has just five ‘chic domes’, all of which are built using sustainably- and locally-sourced materials. A reinvention of the glamping trend, the domes feature a king-sized bed, an en-suite bathroom and all the usual amenities of any five-star hotel.
There are also three tents pitched across the lagoon, each with its own bed and fire pit for bonfire sessions.
Packages at the dome currently start from AED1,700 while stays at tents are set to start from AED700., with prices varying depending upon the package.
